Required Document:

1.    Letter of Intent – to the Government of Indonesia, desiring to open the trade representative office in Indonesia.

2.    Letter of Appointment – for the person who will engage in Indonesia as a chief representative Officer, which must contain his/her permanent address.

3.    Letter of Statement – specifying the activities of the chief representative who will engage in Indonesia. Note: As chief representative he/she shall not involve any business out of his duty – such as selling, signing any contract transaction, or settle claims are prohibited by Government of Indonesia.

The above three letters should be addressed to the Indonesian Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) and must be notarized and apostilled by the State.

4.    A recent Certificate of Status/Existence of Good Standing from the Secretary of State office where the Australia Principal Company registered.

5.    An application form of “Statement of the Australia Company”. This form should be filled in, signed (including name and title), and notarized by a notary public.

Procedure:

Please make one copy of each document for our file:

• ​Send documents below (along with the Statement of the Australia Company Abroad) to the Trade Attaché, Embassy of Indonesia. A self-addressed envelope with stamp or a prepaid airway bill of FedEx/UPS/USPS should be enclosed for returning the documents to you.
• Once the Embassy received the documents, it takes at least 5 business days to process if all documents are acceptable.
• Based on the information on the application given, The Embassy will issue and send you a Letter of Reference to the address you have given on the envelope or airway bill in Australia. It is free of charge.
